With an interpreter, the process typically takes about twice as long, so the minimum service time is set at 4 hours.

For customers who apply for and complete payment for our medical interpreting service, we will make hospital appointments on your behalf free of charge.

In the Medical Interpreter Reservation Form, please enter your preferred hospital appointment date and time. In the “Notes” section, please write the name and phone number of the hospital you wish to visit.

Please note that depending on the hospital’s availability, your preferred date and time may not be accepted. If this occurs, we will coordinate with both you and the hospital to find an available date, and also adjust the schedule with our medical interpreter. Once confirmed, we will make the reservation again.

If, in the end, we are unable to find a date that works for both you and our interpreter, we will issue a full refund.

If you would like us to search for a suitable hospital for you, we will do our best to find the one most appropriate for your condition. However, please note that we cannot take responsibility for any medical errors or issues that may occur at the hospital we recommend.

For services that exceed six hours, our medical interpreters are entitled to take a one-hour break away from the client. However, during this break, the interpreter must remain on standby so that they can be called by the hospital at any time. For this reason, the regular interpreting fee applies even during the interpreter’s break time.

As a general rule, interpreters take their break during the client's own break (such as during a full medical check-up). If preferred, the interpreter can accompany the client during the break. In this case, the client does not need to pay for the interpreter’s meal; however, an additional meal-accompaniment fee will be charged.

• If your illness or symptoms are covered by insurance, please select the “Normal Level” service.

- If your appointment is between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., choose the ¥35,000 / 4-hour plan.

- If your appointment is between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., choose the ¥45,000 / 4-hour plan.

• If your treatment is not covered by Japanese insurance, such as cancer immunotherapy, cosmetic surgery procedures, or hair transplantation, please select the ¥120,000 / 4-hour High-Level plan. Please also send us the medical documents related to your upcoming treatment as a PDF by email at least one week before your appointment date. If you require translation of these documents, an additional fee may apply—please contact us for details.

The ¥120,000 High-Level plan includes the necessary preparation time for the medical interpreter to thoroughly review and understand your treatment details in advance, ensuring accurate interpretation on the day of service.

If you already have a diagnosis and are seeking a second opinion, we will search for and propose multiple hospitals that offer appropriate second-opinion consultations for your condition.

If you do not yet have a diagnosis and only have symptoms, we will identify and suggest hospitals or clinics with the most suitable medical departments based on your symptoms.

There are four types of services available:

(1) Normal Level (Online) Interpreting Service → 15,000 yen / 1 hour

(2) Normal Level (Attending) Interpreting Service (Starting time between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.) → 35,000 yen / 4 hours

(3) Normal Level (Attending) Interpreting Service (Starting time between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.) → 45,000 yen / 4 hours

(4) High Level (Attending) Interpreting Service (Starting time between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.) → 120,000 yen / 4 hours

• Online interpreting is available starting from 1 hour.

• Attending interpreting services ((2), (3), and (4)) require a minimum of 4 hours.
